GETTING HERE
Getting to the Pier Gallery is easy. If you are arriving by ferry, Gabriola Island is approximately 20 minutes by ferry from Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. Once you arrive on Gabriola Island, the Pier Gallery is about a 15 minute drive via North Road, or 20 minute drive via South Road.

By Ferry
Gabriola Island is accessible by BC Ferries from Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. The ferry ride takes approximately 20 minutes and provides stunning views of the Gulf Islands.

By Plane
You can book a flight with Gulf Island Sea Planes to fly directly to Gabriola via YVR (Vancouver Airport). The plane lands right next door to the Pier Gallery at Silva Bay.

By Car
If you are arriving by car, you can take the ferry from Nanaimo to Gabriola Island. Once you arrive on the island, it's just a short 15 minute drive to the Pier Gallery. Gabriola is home to many deer and wild turkeys which you may want to keep an eye out for on the roads.
